Sound System Dance was founded in a working class neighborhood in Tokyo. The owner of Broad Axe Sound System, Johnny Gold has crafted a vinyl-only long set using only one turntable and preamp, which features tracks from the roots of Reggae to the contemporary scene. Also a continuing from last time special guest Big Zai MC!! Johnny Gold, the owner of Broad Axe Sound System, has developed a unique style of Djing rooted in UK reggae, from listening to a wide variety of genres and has hand-picked all of the records that he spins. He has hand-picked all of his equipment and brings it with him to venues whenever he plays. From the needles to the cables, amps, and speakers, he has chosen the finest hardware available. Reggae and Dub fans are of course welcomed but regardless of who you are, all are welcomed!! Let’s all experience a unique sound system together and dance until the morning!
